Black Lacquer Coffee Table with Capiz Shell Top, 1940s

A "racetrack" oval top of capiz shell in a black lacquer border is supported on a black lacquer pedestal with four scrolling legs with brass caps to the top curl. Very finely made, excellent polish to lacquer. Fine vintage condition. Custom made, 1940s.
