Pair Swedish Rococo Chairs - 1730s
Bold carving, bold form Swedish Rococo side chairs in beautiful walnut with a slight greyish tinge. Flame and leaf carving on the back rail, seat front and knees. Very unusual form to back rails. Excellent condition with thoughtful restoration throughout. A near pair - slight variation in back height and other dimensions, but long part of a set, as old slip seat frames are numbered 1 and 5 in the same hand.
